Before we arrive, there are two things worth doing. Find your main water shut-off valve - usually near the street, the meter, or where the supply enters the house - and close it to stop an active leak. If the problem is a sewage backup, stop running water anywhere in the building, including washing machines and dishwashers, because every gallon you send down the drain has nowhere to go.

Not every plumbing problem needs a same-hour visit, and we will tell you honestly when something can wait until tomorrow at a lower cost. Call us immediately for water you cannot shut off, sewage entering the building, a water heater leaking onto a floor or into a wall, no water at all to the property, or any smell of gas. Those situations get worse and more expensive by the hour.
Problems that usually can wait for a scheduled appointment include a single slow drain, a dripping faucet, a running toilet, or a water heater that is producing less hot water than it used to. We would rather book you at a normal appointment than have you pay for an urgent call you did not need.

Not overnight. Our plumbers are available 7am–8pm Monday through Saturday and 8am–6pm on Sunday, which covers evenings and weekends when most emergencies happen. If you reach us outside those hours, leave a message and we will call you first thing.
For emergencies inside our East Bay service area we aim to be on site the same day, and usually within a couple of hours. Call (925) 580-2119 and we will tell you honestly what we can do rather than promise a time we cannot hit.
Shut off the main water valve if water is flowing and you cannot stop it at the fixture. For a sewage backup, stop using every drain in the building. If you smell gas, leave the building first and call from outside.
